CDL-A Company Truck Driver

  • Company Driver
  1. Applicant must be 25 years old, have a class A CDL and 1 year verifiable OTR experience.
  2. Pay scale is as follows:

 With 1 year verifiable OTR experience start at $.45 (after 1 year raise to $.46, after 2 years raise to $.47 and after 3 years raise to $.48, after 4 years raise to $.49 and after 5 years raise to $.50)  Pay scale tops out at $.50

  1. Home every week.  
  2. Short haul pay, $50 for any load under 400 miles (on top of mileage pay)
  3. $50 layover pay (if dispatch/company or broker is at fault)
  4. $20 extra stop/pick pay
  5. $10 for a DOT inspection with no violations
  6. $2000 new hire sign on bonus ($250 with first check, $250 after 90 days & $500 after 6 months, $500 after 9 month, $500 after 1 year)
  7. Health insurance available (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  8. 401K available
  9. End of the year safety bonus. SEE ATTACHED.
  10. 7 paid holidays
  11. Paid vacation after one year of employment
  12. Assigned trucks.

We are the trucking division of a Manufacturing company.  This is a big benefit to our drivers because we will always have freight to move.  When a truck leaves our facility with a load our main objective is to get them back here as quick as possible to get the next customer load out the door.  This allows for drivers to sometimes be home a night thru the week.

Drivers and dispatch are on a first name basis.  We have an open door policy which allows drivers to come into the office at any time.  Here you are a person with a name not just a truck number!!

We are lenient with personal days off (Doctor appts, Dentist appts etc).  As long as a driver gives ample notice we always make arrangements to meet the drivers request for a day off.  Generally without the driver having to take a vacation day.  (this is done because drivers do not accumulate sick days)

Safety Bonus:

A driver is eligible for our safety bonus after 90 days of continuous employment. Bonuses are calculated Dec. 01 thru Nov. 30, and are retroactive to the drivers start date once the 90 day eligibility period has been fulfilled.  In order to be eligible for each subsequent bonus level, the driver must have qualified for the previous bonus.

  1. $.005 per mile at the end of the year if you have no at fault accidents
  2. $.005 per mile at the end of the year for no equipment damage and no freight damage resulting from driver negligence (must have also qualified for bonus #1)
  3. $.005 per mile at the end of the year for no speeding tickets or moving violations. (must have also qualified for bonuses #1 & #2)
  4. $.005 per mile at the end of the year for all miles over 110,000 whether loaded or empty (must have also qualified for bonuses #1, #2, & #3)

Bonuses are prorated for drivers starting during the year or who are on approved leave.
